"The most valued type of all Nishikigoi in Japan is the Kohaku. There is an old Nishikigoi farmer adage that your first koi purchased will be a Kohaku and that your last koi purchased will be a Kohaku. This magnificent show quality specimen fills these shoes weather this is your first Kohaku purchased or your last. He has a perfect "10" body conformation with an awesome Sandan pattern of three balanced Hi steps of hot scarlet red against a snow white blanket. His Kiwa and Sashi are of razor sharp lines that divide his magnificent Sandan Hi pattern from his snow white Shiro body. His white nose is in perfect harmony to his symmetrical three step pattern and rare proportioned Odami(white break before the tail). Being a young boy and already having an excellent body conformation,I expect this beauty to grow to jumbo status while maintaining all of his beautiful charms. "The Japanese word for Peacock is Kujaku. Our Featured Koi is a Ki Kujaku, rare yellow Kujaku that is also of the Hirenaga (long fin) variety. Her bright sheen to her platinum and canary yellow skin is highlighted with reticulated (pinecone) scales which are genetic to the breed. In time these pinecone scales will become even more pronounced adding an artistic design to her balanced pattern. Not only is her body conformation of top quality but her fins are long and full similar to the large fanned feathers of a peacock. This already big girl at only three years of age will grow to jumbo status and will be the trophy koi in your pond."

" This JEWEL of "fallen leaves on the blue water" has the best pattern for an Ochiba Shigure that I have ever seen. Her colors are an even shade of Autumn Brown against a Steel Blue background. She also has a developing pencil colored outline around each scale that will make up the net pattern on this type of koi.
